its not about the biggest tire you can fit on there. and if you do track days then you should understand the impact of changing between a 160/170/180 rear tire and how said changes affect handling, corner speed etc.

there are already quite a fw threads on here about tire size and which brand is better. you will do better by using the search function .. read through it , and if you still cant find your answer then feel free to post a new thread.

120/70-17 front and a 160/60-17 rear is what I used and loved it. I also had the front lowered.

Be carefull with tyre choice, i know triax has a 120/70 front but its turns in rather quick. If your not really confident of holding your front end and your not a quick rider i'd advise against putting a 70 front tyre on and stick with a 60. Cos once it gets to a certain lean angle it may give a little more than your used to. Oh and it rubs on the inside of the fender when hot. Up to you but Honda design fairings around tyres also.

I did have to raise my fender up slightly and it did rub the back of the fender a bit. He is correct it doesn turn in much fast than the 60.

Can someone explain who this "Redline" is and what their website may be? I tried looking all over and searching but nothing that yielded redline tire? (unless you are looking for vintage car tires)

Thx.

I recommend the stock tire sizes and buy the pilot powers, they are incredible tires for the money, once at operating temps they stick like glue!!
