sound when on throttle
I have noticed that when I apply throttle, there is sort of a whistling sound coming from the front of the bike. I dont really know if its normal or something to be concerned about. When I roll off the throttle it doesnt make that sound. Its a hard sound to explain but the best word for it that I can come up with is a whistle. I have a 1995 CBR600F3. Thanks
Does it increase with throttle position? If so maybe one of your Ram Air Tubes has a leak causing the whistling noise.
Or does it increase with speed? Does it start at a certain speed? Maybe one of your fairings is whistling because it is loose or something?
Or Does it sound like....

Sorry I couldn't resist.

You often get noises being transmitted up through the fairing, I had a Buzzing noise that drove me nuts, looked everywhere but could no find it, turned out to be on of the inserts that go on the inside of the screen, so I just bent the retaining tang a tad & fixed it up.
There are so many areas on & under the fairing that can cause vibration, (including the bloody Fuse insert on the right side of the fairing). But your going to drive yourself nuts till you figure out whats causing it (or just get a pair of ear plugs)
