So my bike runs Extremely Lean
So before i went to work one day i was eating my oatmeal and contemplating why my bike hated going over 45mph anywhere. So i decided to do a little experiment. I taped up one half of the Ram air intake and drove to work.
It was like night and day. I could cruise at 85mph no problem and i could finally put it into 6th without it sputtering on me. So i cam to the conclusion that my bike is not getting enough fuel into the engine at speeds higher then 45 mph.
So does this mean a jet kit will help alleviate my problem or is it something else?

RE: So my bike runs Extremely Lean
The pipe Is an Erion Slip on a NON stock header (unsure of what the header came from, maybe hindle?)
Air filter is a K&N
I havent touched any screws on the carbs
Yes i have tried riding with the carb on but stayed the same way
and the owner before me took off the PAIR system

So did the problem happen all of a sudden? Like one day, your bike didn't like going over 45 mph? If so, you might want to check out the vaccum lines andair vent solenoid under the tank. If the solenoid isn't working properly, your carbs won't act right when the ram air effect starts. (something to do with pressurizing the float bowls....carbs require all of those solenoids and hoses to work properly with ram air).
I know you said the previous owner removed the PAIR system, but are you sure it was the pair system and not the air vent solenoid and vacuum lines (they're located justto the rear ofthe airbox). If all of this stuff is no longer in place, then I can almost guarantee you your problem is related to that!
Basically, all of these stuff needs to be in place for the bike to run properly: http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/...E_-_F3_-_95-96
