Default Different forks? Maybe?

So, has anyone here done a front end swap for their F3?

Here's the deal,I bought a crashed F3 and am planning to turn it into a track day bike. I'd like to bolt on a better set of forks (or front end), and breaks. Maybe allI'll need to do is get some triples (as long as the head tube is the same or similar length to that of the F3(maybe something from like a F4). Since those units can be had for a reasonable price on Flea-bay.

I knowI could have them rebuilt, revalved, and resprung but to be truthful with you all, I'll be doing track daystwo or three weekends during the summer...Maybe...If my job allows for it. Not to mention that the F3 will move from 41 mm forks to 43 mm forks. The stoutness alone will be an upgrade. I'd be reluctant to put some 600RR forks on it beacuse the forks may be too rigid and cause the steel frame on the F3 to act strangely mid corner. I mean, have you see the head tube on the RR's? They're a soild unit similar to a Hayabusa's

Any input on this topic would be helpful.

Thank you all.

I am looking to go with inverted or USD forks on my F3, and was told her that Suzuki 600 forks and triples will bolt on.

look back a few days here and look for my thread on inverted forks.

There is a link on the conversion

F3 forks built by GMD Computrack in ATL or by Thermosman (google it) will be exactly what you need, not to mention if you ever upgrade from trackdays into racing, only F2 or F3 forks will be legal. F4 forks aren't any better than F3 forks. Just a waste of money and time switching to them. There is a reason why everybody in the V7 race class upgrades or keeps their F3 forks. If it was worth the change, everybody would have a gixxer or f4 front end on it
