Scratches on your engine cover or want a more modern look for your bike?
Ok, I looked thru all of the F3 pictures on the pic thread and saw only two bikes that have done this and SO many bikes would benefit from this procedure.
Paint your engine cover semi-gloss black.
It hides any scrapes and scratches and makes the bike look years newer.
What you need to do:
1. Remove your left lower fairing
2. cut a hole in a piece of cardboard the shape of your engine cover
3. spray black semi-gloss spray paint on the cover - probably give it a couple coats (let dry between coats) - try not to let any overspray hit any part of bike
4. Let dry and put your fairing back on
Any bike can benefit from this in my opinion. I saved this cardboard cutout and have done at least 4 bikes with it.
