Raising my bike back up?

Given that the PO did such a ghetto mod on a cheap part, I'd give the whole bike a once-over if I were you.

Ok, received the stock dogbone from ebay in the mail today (not ready to install it till I can safely jack the bike up). So I'm set there.
I'm wondering about the front height tho. How would I be able to tell how much the front was lowered? And how would I know when I've reached stock height in the front? I doubt the PO paid to have the suspension altered so I'm betting they slid the forks up. So how much should I slide them back down?

Ive seen this done once before and the first thing you should do is to make sure that the bike is jacked up and secure from falling. My buddy just loosened up the clip ons and slid them up to about an 1/8" below the little snap ring thing on the top of the forks and then snugged them back up. Then he just loosened up the pinch bolts on the triple trees, made sure they were snug against the clip ons and voila, unlowered. Hope that makes sense or helps
