Ive searched and searched --- and came up with nothing ... Has anybody done this ?

Hey Bro,, I asked the same question! I'm 6'1,,, they said that if I raise the rear I half to raise the front or it will turn funny!! It is possible I guess, but sounded like to much work! And after thinking about it..... I'd rather fall a shorter distance if it didn't work anyways!

It may have nothing to do with height. I'm only 5'3" and I raised the rear of my F3. I'm now contemplating on doing it with my 600RR.

The rear can be raised. They make aftermarket shocks that have ride height adjustability. but they're expensive. How much are you looking to raise it. I believe the F4i (at least the older models) were able to have their rear shocks shimmed with a washer to get a little height out of it.

i looked at my shock and saw no easy way to raise the rear. i ended up taking the poor mans route and raised my forks 5mm in the tripples for qucker turn-in. the bike handles a good bit quicker and nothing drags the ground (except the feelers) in the twisties. i have my preload maxed out(position 7)in the rear though and only 2 lines showing on the front.very good free mod imo

No you won't. The feelers can grab pavement imperfections. Less chance of the pegs doing that, besides you still have meat on the tire to lean even further.....unless you've monkeyed too much with the geometry. Look at your tires, they should tell the story of your riding.

i just gradually ground em down from riding my r6'. i'm gonna do the same on the CBR. imo, they give you a point of reference for street riding. they tell me when to back it off some so i stay rubber side down. my tireshave wearto edges on the rear and about 3/16" left on the front and my pegsare scraped asthier designed imo[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
