Default No power at all

Having problems with my F3, Fully charged battery and working rectifier. You put the key in and turn it to the ON position and nothing happens. Nothing on the cluster, no noises, nothing. Battery is fully charged and I have already tried several.

I was having a problem with corroded battery terminals but got it taken care of. Where do the terminals lead? I'm thinking there is a short somewhere. The bike was perfectly fine before all this though.

I know for a fact it is NOT the R/R or battery.

Fuses are always a good place to start.

Are you getting power to your lights/blinkers? Check your fuses, make sure you check the main fuse (30A) located on the left side (sitting on the bike), pull off the side cover & its to the right of the fuel pump.

I am getting NO power at all to the cluster, fuel pump....nothing. Bike has 30000 miles so i'm sure stuff is starting to blow up. The fuses is a good place to start. Other than that i'm not sure.

Where is the starter relay?

I'll check the RR wires too.

If you're looking from the top of the bike, the starter relay will be in front of the battery box on the left side.

BINGO!

Changed out the blown 30A fuse and it was good to go. Well it's on the tender right now, not sure if it's actually going to turn on yet.

So what's the deal with this thing being blown, it has never happened since i've owned the bike and i'm wondering if it's going to happen again or if I should be concerned or what?

Thanks again for all the help guys. Hope this is the last of my problems. (Unlikely)

BTW is that the starter relay fuse? I want to know what the name of it is.
