i just bought my first bike(98'cbr)and have a few beginner questions...

1. how often should i change my oil?

2. i need to charge my battery (maybe even change it); what side is the battery on? (i dont even know how the battery looks)

3. i just changedmy tires...how can i tell/measure when to change them again?

Oil - If you live up north and don't run in the winter like me I'd only worry about it once a year or just keep an eye on the oil and you can tell when it looks like it needs to be changed (loses clear brown color)

Battery - You need to remove the rear side tail fairings to get to the seat bolts and then you'll find the battery box just after the gas tank under the seat.
