Default How to tell which suspension is on my bike

I have a 91 F2, but it has a 98 motor, and I am trying to determine if the previous owner upgraded the suspension as well. It has a red shock, if that matter, and the fork lowers are silver, not black like I have seen on many f2s. Also, the top of the forks have adjustment screws, and I had heard that F2 forks were not adjustable. What should I look for to tell what yea/model suspension I have? I will snap some pics if you guys tell me what spots I should focus in on. Thanks

This is a 1997 front end....There's two adjustments at the top, one for preload, one for rebound.

For the rear, my bike has a red shock with adjustable preload and rebound

Fatboy - Check to see if it has a resivior for the rear shock. If it doesnt its the original one, if it does it came from a 97 or 98 F3.

Kwong - Why are your clipons different?????

Well I am pretty sure I have 98 suspension on the bike. It's a 98 motor, and the rear is 5.5", the shock has the remote gas reservior, and the forks look like the ones pictured. Here's a crappy shot from my phone, hope the quality is decent enough to tell:

Broke the left clip-on, bought some vortex's, but the right clip-on wouldn't fit with the master cylinder, so I just had one of the clip-ons on. That's a fairly old picture, but it's all fixed now, got oem ones now

Yeah, those are at least from a 95. I don't think externally there is any difference betwee the 95-96 versus 97-98. But you definitely have the preload and rebound adjustability.
