Default Getting the suspension serviced- How to Support the bike

I need to send my shock in for service. When I needed to get to the rear of the bike before I got my stands, I used to rest the bike on a car tire (I knew I was keeping that for a reason). Now I need to remove my rear shock so I can ship it out. What do you guys recommend for this? Obviously the stand won’t work (darn) and I don’t have the stock one to put back on while the Ohlins is in transit. I could do the car tire again but I also plan to pull the forks while the shock is out and my front stand is a fork type. So basically the swingarm will be hanging and there won’t be a front end on the bike. I will need a way to keep it stable as I remove and reinstall the forks and shock. Ideas?

I think this may work for supporting the rear.

Oh, I should add that I want to do this on a budget. My budget is mostly occupied by my upgrade project.

I use a cherry picker to support the bike when the suspension is torn down.

A cherry picker isn't on my shopping list. (LOL)

If you have a garage or maybe a carport...you can get a block and tackle from Tractor Supply (link) or some other store and hang it from the rafters with an eye hook. Maybe make an A fame from 2x6's if the rafter is not an option.

Just be mindful of the capacity of the the block and tackle and eyehook.

hanging from rafters isn't an option. (Thought of that)
