how change plugs?
^^^
exactly. go in from the side maitinence panels. and no need to remove/move the tank. just more work for you. i found using the spark plug wrence in the factory tool kit worked perfectly. just a bit tight quarters to work with.

I didn't need to move the tank at all, I just got a spark plug socket with an extention, got the extention and socket in the hole, got it tight on the plug with my fingers then attached the ratchet. Do the same to put it back in just be careful not to drop the plug in because that could mess up the gap. Get it as tight as you can with your hands because you DO NOT want to cross thread those damn plugs.
Now, to make sure I'm not an idiot, the plug wires are red on my bike and there are obviously four. Their is one seperate from the 3 and its on the right side (if u r sitting on the bike).
Are they easily removed and are the plugs currently in their easily removed.
ALSO, WILL THE PLUGS FROM A 94 F2 FIT IN 97 F3. I SEE NO REASON WHY THEY SHOULD NOT BUT FIGURED TO ASK.

What a friggin mess, and thank god she's got new plugs. The existing were fine and looked as they should. Either way it runs great and I hope it will be a while till it needs to be done again. Also tightened the chain and found out that wasn't very hard at all.
