no, you dont have to remove the radiator. i find it easy enough to just take the seat off, take the gas tank off, take the air cleaner box offand then you can see them right there. its a tight squeeze, but if you have the spark plug tool from the stock tool kit, it is pretty easy. you actually dont have to take the gas tank off either, i just prop mine up with a piece of wood, so its out of the way. hope this helps.

I did mine today and it took all of 20 minutes.
barney style
remove front seat
remove tank mount bolts
prop tank,
unplug sensor at the top of the box
remove upper airbox,
remove velocity stacks,
remove all hoses and the map sensor, (I removed the line and the plug but you can leave it attached and remove it from the box itself.)
remove lower portion of airbox
uplug coil wires
remove coils
ok if you got tools this is easy to follow.
5/8 sparkplug socket attached to 3/8 drive universal attached to 2 inch extension
drop that assembly in the hole and take a 5 inch extension attached to your ratchet and remove plugs. The 5 inch extension allows you to get past the cross bar that was in the way when you removed the coils. reverse the process when you put it back together.

i usually do it from radiator. just need patience, but anytime you change your plugs you should aslo sync your throttle bodies so might as well go in from the top. manual actually says you don't need to sync them or something like it's not possible, but it is doable.

nope...this is what you want to do...take off the tank bolts and prop it up using rope or tie downs so the rear of the tank is down but the front is propped up. attach the other end of the rope to the frankenstein bolts or something towards the rear of bike to to hold it up.

next, remove IAT sensor on top of airbox, then there are 10 bolts holding the airbox lid on...(one in the center of the box), remove them, the dust curtains (rubber curtain things) and the cover comes off. next remove the velocity stacks, there are like 6 screws holding them on...if not, maybe 8...once you unscrew them, the air box assembly can be removed. but on the clutch side, there's a sensor and vacuum line there...so unplug that. next shove clean rags in the TB so nothing falls in...

now you have a pretty unobstructed path to the coils and plugs.

it only sounds like there are lots to do, but from taking off tank to getting airbox off shouldnt' take more than 10 minutes. the more you do this the easier it gets!

hahahha...vacuum lines, lines going to the evaporative canister, stuff for your PAIR system, blah blah blah...

remember, there should be 3 lines in the rear, 2 small 1/4 hoses and 1 big fat one...the 2 little ones plug up to the tabs that stuck out under the air box.

you look like you have some grime on your TB...you may want to clean that stuff off. it could also be some sort of sealant but from here it looks like grime. you can take off the TB (only 4 bots, hard to get to but only 4 of them) and clean out your butterfly valves and stuff.
