i like how the silver tire hugger looks.... makes the swingarm look beefy haha

is that painted or it came that way?

most now are plastic black, which means its prolly painted,
BUT
I do know some were metal.. which in that case...

yeah ive got a black one on my bike, but that silver looks pretty nice.

use some chain wax instead of pj1, and it will make less crap sling everywhere... pj1 and similar oils were terrible IMO, Im back on the chain wax and won't go back... no mess at all.

im finally finished it all off except for the fuel tank which im gona get painted black. i didnt need to use any zip ties tho, i was able to bolt everything one way or another. here are the final pics.

I think i want to put a red mesh in the holes on the side access panels, to match the bar ends and engine bolts. And i also want to get rid of the rear fender.

it was like that when i got it, doesn't look painted.

Australia. yeah it was nice but it had been in a prang prior to me buying it and you cant really tell in the pics but it had a lot of cracks and the inner fairing was falling apart. if i ever find myself with enuf money i might consider getting it repaired. if i knew where the decals came from id tell you but i dont know that much about the bikes history.

seems like a neat idea to wrap the tank rather than painting it. a bit expensive though
