Why is there tape over the black tank cover? Did they spell Honda wrong? I've notice some of the smokin joes kits on Ebay the wrong lettering.

 

Thanks for this thread, Spicy. I've always been curious how these hong kong fairings work out. I was considering buying some but then decided to paint mine myself... they turned out sick.

 

the tape is to protect the decals.
and to keep them in place and let them dry.

i dont know if this has been asked yet, but who (from hong kong) did you buy these off of? i am buying some for mine, but i dont know who to buy from, i have no money.. i need somthing cheap

 

im under the assumption that they are all the same company.
mine was about 500.00 shipped.

id say dodge the topic of plastics until you have the right money to invest in good plastics rather than make due.

Well the thing with me is i got this bike from a guy who f***ed the fairings up. and i would save up the money and get nice new fairings, but im going to be 16 in a couple weeks, this is my first "big" bike. i work at a grocry store (how i bought the bike) and i cant save up that fast. My biggest concern is if i end up dumping the bike (hofully i wont) that im not out a lot of money on the good fairngs i bought. So any suggestions would be GREAT!! my other idea was to just clean up the fairings i do have and see how hard they would be to fix up.

i'm looking for a new set of fairings for my 92 cbr 600 f2..yeah i know this is f3 but they are simliar i was wondering if anyone has any websites where i can purchase them it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me out
