it seems to be bogging out pretty bad when i shift to second gear i guess its prob the carbs, im gonna get some seafoam and see if it will help, is this a good strategy?

 

could it be anything else? i need to get this thing running normal its my only way of transportation and im running out of money

 

UPDATE. first of all its not just 2nd and 3rd, it does it in first too. its like spurts of normal and then it dies down and then again normal then dies down. i also noticed that when it does it in 2nd it backfires. is this still carbs? could it be that my sparks are missfiring? maybe the wires to the plugs arent in the order they should be? anyone have any ideas

 

Well this happened and is still happening to me, and yes .. this are cabs.
In my case is because engine is not getting enough fuel, I would recommend you to try and cover a lil bit the airbox, maybe you are getting 2 much air , or the carbs are not letting 2 much gas to pass.
