Default Which GSXR Regulator?

My regulator is dead. I have read that you should replace it with a GSXR, but what sizes are okay to use with my bike (600 F3)? The one from a 600, 750, 1000?

Anybody able to help me?

Thanks

dont think it matters, almost all "modern" sportbikes use the same style of r/r. its just a matter of hooking the right wires up to the right wires.

It's funny, on another forum the guys with gixxers were switching to Honda R/Rs. I asked why they'd do that, when the Honda guys are always replacing them with Suzuki units . . . I was told that the Honda rectifiers are fine, it's the wiring that's crap and leads to them failing. So maybe upgrading the wiring harness and connectors would help . . .

so i my regulator burned and melted..... i bought the gsxr unit and have one question.

- for the stator wires, do they have to be in a certain order? (would it charge the battery backwards if one of the legs of the stator was out of order?)

thanks in advance

just installed the gsxr R/R popped a couple main fuses, but that was due to installing the r/r incorrectly..

after searching and searching.... i never found which wire goes where, so incase someone w/out a multimeter has to make the change:

3 wires from the stator - doesnt matter where each goes.
wire with red stripe(gsxr side) - connect to red wire on the f3
wire with white stripe(gsxr side) - connect to green wire on the f3

VERY EASY TO DO.

be careful on that triumphrat site, those guys can be ******** haha
interesting tidbit.......i ordered a gsxr r/r for my triumph cause they are so abundant and it was the exact same one as the stock triumph (plug in and all) which made for a simple plug and play replacement
