Gps mount ideas
Any of you guys mount a GPS to your CBR? I'd like to mount my Garmin for road trip using a RAM mount (ball/socket) but not sure where to secure it and mount it.
Anyone got pics?

I was going to make a chaging dock for my phone and attach it somewhere to one of the arms on the fairing stay. I have a f4i conversion though so it may be a bit different. I think that would be ideal though so that you can kinda hide it away from the rain and whatnot
My Solution:
I have been really impressed with a thing called: So Easy Rider V3(I see the V4 is now available) Waterproof protective cover & Mounting straps. Bought for my previous bike 2 years ago and still going strong today. It fits on with long Velcro straps that wrap around, very secure and would fit mostly all bikes. It has enough room for any 2 devices.
I used to use it to carry a battery pack behind my Tomtom 920 so that I had a backup on long journeys and it did work well for that. When I don't take my satnav I use the case to carry my disk lock. It is very versatile like that. Its always been fully waterproof for me without the need for the extra storm shield supplied. And you can operate the touch screen through the window.
I now have the tomtom charger wired into it(the lead goes in through the headphone hole in the case),which is plugged into a: 'waterproof fused 12v car cigarette lighter socket charger outlet' which sits in the free space next to the bikes battery.
Using an adapter I keep in the case this means I can also use this same lead to charge my phone while also still using the tomtom to navigate.
Perhaps it doesn't look as sleek as some other mounting options but it gets the job done with no fuss whatsoever. I highly recommend it.
