Default Getting new tires, need suggestions

Hey guys, its time for some new tires for my f3. The ones I have now just don't cut it. For one I have a 180 rear tire. (bought the bike with it on there ) The front is a Dunlop Sportmax 180/55 ZR-17 D208. The front is a 120/70 ZR-17 D207F. Now I know going back down to a 160 will help the agility of the bike but what I want to know is what besides going back to the factory spec sizes will give me more grip. I want something that is going to last more than a race tire on top of the fact that I don't race lol. I am looking at the Michelin Pilot Power sport radial tires. Not the 2 compound but just the regulars. Would those be any better than the Dunlops I have on there now? If you guys have a better choice of tire that is around the PP's cost please let me know. Thanks, Tanner

i was in your shoes a few months ago. my bike also came with the dunlop sportmax 180 rear. i got the regular michelin pilot powers (160/60,120/60) which is stock sizes, and they are night and day different. i highly recommend the switch. they are amazing tires, and the difference from the 180 is incredible (in my opinion). the pilot powers are so sticky

I looked around today and found that I could get the PP's for 180 a set or if I wait two weeks I can get a set of Dunlop Q2's for 190 a set. What should I do?

bridgestone battlax bt021s. Dual compound for the straights and twisties. Great price. Put about 10k on my F3 and I couldn't have been happier. Aggressive riding and commuting alike.

great all-around tire.

I just bought a set of Pilot Powers for 147.98 UPS Ground shipped. I couldn't resist, the general consensus was that the PP last a few miles longer than the Q2's and are as good in the corners (as far as my riding ability goes). Now the wait for them to arrive and have them mounted!
