Well first offI own a 95 CBR F3 w/around 35,000 miles. I was riding with a friend and he told me my exhaust smelled funky. I don't know what it is?? Oil cause rings?? I don't see smoke out the exhaust.. What do yall think??? The bike still runs strong...I Should check the plugs....what should I look for??

 

Check your plugs, end of the exhaust & stop feeding your bike burritos.
Could just be a case of some petrol you filled up with. Depending on where they come from, some petrol have some weird stuff in them when burnt that can smell like my father law after a decent curry.

 

well it could be a bunch of different things.It could be major or it could be minor.this funky smell you speak of is it like a rotton egg smell?but anyways it could be a few different things..First possiable coolant leak.possiably radiator and its leaking down onto the headers and making it burn and smell that way.it could be a faulty alternator overcharging your battery.Believe it or not that will cause it. Next time you notice the odor, do a visual check of your battery. An over-charged battery would look a bit swollen, you may even notice some gas escaping from under the cell cover/cap things.Check these things out give us alil more info..any new stuff done to the bike?..what kind of smell would you describe it as

 

I get that smell sometimes. Had it with my F3. I get it with my RR. Probably isn't a problem.

 

def. check for a coolant leak, it's notorious for smelling funny.
