sooo i got an 95 f3 it was sitting in a for 2 years changed the plugs new battery and flushed the tank and it willstart up but when i put it in gear it shuts off... and it appears there is not a kickstand sensor

 

Theres a clutch safety switch thingy also.

 

If the bike thinks the kickstand is down, then it will shut off when you put it in gear. And that's whether or not the clutch lever is pulled in. If you want to test by bypassing the sidestand switch, unplug it and then put a jumper between the Green wire and the Green/White wire on the bike side of the harness.
