Funny you say that. The hose from the thermostat was hotter than the other hoses. Would you say then I should get a new thermostat then?

If it were my bike, that's what I'd do. One thing I'd do to double check is put your hand on the hose that exits the radiator. If it is noticeably cooler than the rest, it's a good bet that the thermostat is stuck.

If you do swap it out, be prepared to catch all the coolant as well as have new on hand to replace what you will need to drain out.
Hope this helps.

You have no cross contamination, & no more leaks.....correct? Have you set it on the side stand & let it run for a few to burp out any air bubbles? What are the temps getting up to? You can use a cooking thermometer to check the temp at which the fan comes on. It should come on around 210ish if I remember correctly when the system is sealed up.

No cross contamination. It was a leaking o-ring on the pump where it goes into the oil pan/engine and also one of the radiator hoses was cracked where it connects to the pump. Did an oil change anyways. Oil was not contaminated nor was the coolant. I filled the radiator all the way up and filled the reservoir to the lower line. I started the bike and snapped the throttle a few times to burp it. I left the cap off until the coolant started to overflow from the radiator. I replaced the cap. The temp gauge went about 1/16" from the red. (It did take about 15-20 min to warm up) Super hot! The fan would come on but only for like 5 seconds. Then shuttoff for about 2 min. Then on for 5 sec. I turned the bike off. I then shorted the fan to cool it down for a min or so. The hoses all felt the same temp except the hose that runs from the thermostat to the radiator. This hose was hotter than the rest.
