cooling fan

Default cooling fan

ok so when im not on a road drivin like stuck at a really long red light one after another or in a city(philly) my bike overheates and the fan doesnt kick on. i went through the connextions already and then it started to work good and wouldnt overheat. and now again its doing the same thing. someone please help

when i ride slow or on lights it slowly goes all the way to 256 if i dont move. when im riding highway 1175 180.

hmmm. sounds like a harness proble. check the conector for corrosion or impropperfitting terminals. Im no bike mechanic but that sounds like a wiring issue

yea idk is there like a thermostat for the fan? maybe that went bad? if so where is it?

There is a Thermostatic Switch yes. sounds as if that's malfunctioning. replace the switch or wire the fan with an on/off so you can turn it on and off at will.
