Default 929 Cooling fan

My cooling fan is not kicking on and the bike is reaching extreme temps. I have checked the fuses and they are all fine. Any ideas where I should start on fixing this. I have no problem replacing parts but how can I tell what is actually broken.

ok at the bottom of your radiator there is fan switch it looks like a big plug with one wire coming out of it unplug the wire and touch the connector of that wire to groung if it wont reach get a wire and jump it when you do this the fan should come on if it does its most likely your fan thermal switch is bad now if it doesn't check to make sure you have power coming out of that wire if you do then its most likely your fan motor
