changing brake pads

Default changing brake pads

are changing the break pads on my f3 hard? or is it just the one bolt holding them in? i have the tire off and i thought this would be prime time to change pads? will i need to re-adjust them when i am done replacing them? thanks!

Its not hard at all but you must be patient and use the right tools. The easiest places to really screw **** up is removing the cover to the bolt to remove the pads. Be patient with the flat tip screw driver when removing the cover, it would be very easy to strip the head off. After you remove the cover be sure to use a 5mm alan wrench to keep from stripping the bolt.

if you have the manual, look there. i had to replace the brakes for my bike to pass inspection and it took me maybe an hr or so for both the front and back.

you may as well bleed the brake fluid to makes it much easier
