Chain Rub
So I am getting close to the end of my bike project and today after school I put the front wheel, rear wheel swing arm and some mis parts on and after I torqued it all down I noticed something I didnt remember. It could be normal but I haven't had the rear wheel on for a year now... eeeek. But I am pretty sure its not normal, I think the chain is rubbing on the rupper piece that goes on the swing arm. Idk how to fix it and actually it got dark fast so I cant totally confirm it but how much clearance and I looking for over the rubber and how might I go about getting that clearance. THANKS!
PS I think it might be possible that the chain might need to be tightened... but idk for sure. It has a little less tension that I would think normal. Follow up question, the bike hasnt ran for a year now, o god I hate saying that but its true, so is there anything I should be careful of? Im gunna change the oil before start up.

It is sounding like you need to tighten your chain up. The chain can touch the the rubber guide but shouldn*t rest on the rubber chain guide. If it is resting on it, you definitely need to tighten the chain.
Lol, I would like to think I know my ****. But yeah really the only thing that really intimidates me is the carb. I use to work at and Audi dealership, I own and audi and all my friends own wrx's, civic (not a fan) etc... so carbs are like a different world to me, BUT i really wished I knew them.
