carb balancing screws

Default carb balancing screws

hi ...i posted a question about a week ago about trying to locate the screws to adjust the vacum on the carbs ..and and i got a reply saying there inbetween the throttle bodies and easy to spot ! well i just been out for another look and im damned if i can find them haha ....any more help to point me in the right direction would be appreciated .....ive found where you attatch the pipes for the carb tune no problem...its a 98 model

on my 96 they were pretty easy to spot. they are in between each carb under the hose.

cheers mate ...........just had yet another look and all i can find is where the airbox meets the carb bodies there are two screws ...one between one and two carb ,the other one is between three and four carb,and when you twist the throttle these screws move ! could these be them i wonder ...i was under the impresion there was three in total

I had trouble with this, too, but MrGoats is right. PM IDoDirt. Dude's got pictures of every last screw, ever. I'm sure he'll post them.

Getting at the one between the 1 & 2 carbs is a pita.

so do you do the sync with the airbox and stacks removed?

No, that would cause engine problem from sucking in crap, that picture is just for clarity man. Just look down with your head on the seat and move the throttle around with a light shined in, you'll see them move, might need to move those little hoses out of the way, and 1 is hard to see from the tps I think.
