So I got a brand new aftermarket fairing kit for $250 from someone on craigslist. The problem I'm having is that they're designed for a 96 f3 and I have a 98. What modifications do I need to do to the fairings to make them fit?

 

The front half should be fine. The back is a little different. Not sure what that all entails. So Idodirt will fill u in on that.

 

Would anybody like to trade their 98 f3 rear fairings for my 96? Here is a pic of them

 

The seat, Tail light, and tail light bracket are different as well as the three pieces of plastic that make up the tail. Also the fuel petcock is in a slightly different place but close enough. And the location of the idle adjuster is different.
