Unhappy Bike won't start

So, just the other day, I went to start my bike. It tried, but couldn't start up. I went to hit the start switch again, and nothing happened. I could flip the on/off switch back and forth, and it would try again, but the same thing kept happening. Anyone know of what this could be?

What kept happening? Did it crank over and not start or not crank at all?

Huge difference, diagnostically speaking.

Sorry, it cranked over and didn't start. Then I would go to try a second time, and I got literally nothing.

A cranking engine needs fuel and spark. Which one are you missing?

When you say "nothing", do you hear the starter try to engage? Maybe it's dumping so much fuel, it's locking up the engine. pull the plugs and see how wet, or dry, they are. Try cranking it over with no plugs in it to blow out the cylinders.

Okay, it has fuel, and the plugs are fine. I got it to start(barely), and when I give it any gas whatsoever, it bogs out and quits. I can rarely get it started. The battery isn't great, but it's doing its job. Could this be an issue with my fuel pump?

How long did your bike sit ? Could be clogged up slowjets.

I had similar problems do a good cleaning of your carbs, good bowls needles and if you can replace the jets.

It hasn't been sitting at all. I just went on a trip with it, and rode it to work every day when I got back. It probably sat a single day before I tried starting it up again.
I cleaned the carbs less than a year ago. I also had to clean the tank. That ethanol crap is terrible.
