Exhaust mod usually calls for a stage 1 jet kit, it's probably running lean in the top end because of the all the extra airflow. I would assume you'd want to resync after rejetting, just to make sure it's pulling like it should.

Just out of curiosity, why'd you gut it if you were hitting 168 just fine? I don't think i've ever gone fast enough to notice issues at such high speed, but maybe I'm just boring.

Well i gutted it due to wanted more sound lol my carbs are in sync just fine could i get away with just jets and not have to resync them i don't have to pull the carbs apart. I don't think. Don't say anything about pulling them apart. Just says to screw new jets in replace new needles.

you just pull the bowls off and replace the jets on the top of the carbs just pull out needles and install the new ones with new washers and clips. very easy there is a good carb jet thread on the top of the f2 page. pictures and step by step instructions
