Default Bike finally starts again, what else to check?

Hey guys, my bike died about 2 months ago while riding and finally started again. I've done a lot of reading the in past 2 months about how to diagnose different things, and now just want to know what else I should check and/or keep an eye on.

So my bike died while I was riding and it felt like gas had run out of it and would not start again. Taking different advice I found on here, I cleaned out the carbs (carbs were actually still clean) and checked to see if the fuel pump was running (which it was, it pulses once every 2-3 seconds). After doing those checks, I tried to start it with no luck.

I then changed out the spark plugs with brand new ones. My battery was getting really weak and old and didnt give me enough power for spark, so I hooked the bike directly up to a car battery and started starting it that way. After about 15-20 attempts at starting it, it finally started up.

Now I'm charging my battery up to try one more time if I can get it to start off of it before I go out and buy a new battery. Does anyone here have any advice on what I should keep an eye on? I am thinking about doing the fuel pump fix that is posted on this forum just to be safe.

To be honest, I don't actually know what went wrong with my bike. It may just be a combination of a bunch of different things causing my bike to die and not start up.

How do you check if the fuel pump is running?

I unplugged it from its harness and hooked it up directly to a power source to ensure it runs with power.

just run a power and ground from the battery? Where is the fuel pump anyways. That might be why my bike isn't starting just zroom zrooms doesnt even want to turn over, doesnt even try turning over

the fuel pump is located on the left side. If you remove your tail piece you should see it underneath your seat/gas tank. There's a lot of info on this forum if you search around. There's tons of reasons why a bike may not be starting up as I've learned. You should also check to see if your spark plugs are in good condition.

I was going to do that but have no clue how to get to them, lol. Time for more searching. I know my r/r is shot because I could not rev the engine higher than 2k and the voltage was under 12
