Air Filter
Depends on your setup, changing the filter changes the air flow which changes the fuel air mixture, if you have a jet kit or full race exhaust you may need an increased airflow for the increased fuel your adding but if your stock then going to a "high flow" will only cause problems
Its the same filter that was in the bike when I bought it a few years ago. The rubber is deteriorating and it just wasnt maintained prior to me. Its time to replace the filter.
Makes sense dad0507, a lot of members here swear by the stock paper filter, and it should not cause any problem with your tune if you go that way. Personally I've run a K&N on all my vehicles purely because of the convenience of cleaning, which means they will usually last the lifetime of the vehicle. It's your choice, but I recommend getting another K&N.
