What the others are saying is right. Valves are supposed to done every 24000klms (15000mls), so its probably due. Also I relate to noise issues with bikes & after a while they can seem & sound much worse than they really are. I to have done shim adjustments on multi's & you can go mental from actually doing the work & then from wondering if you did it right in the 1st place (made me really appreciate the screw tappet adjustment on my Beemer). Get it done by the shop.

thats what i planned on doing, this was just a temp fix for me. i want to keep everything to factory specs, these are monster machines straight out of the box in my opinion an i want to keep everything stock. honda knows what they're doing.
