Default Wheelie gearing question?

I just bought a sprocket chain kit with a 520 chain and front and rear sprockets and i had a few questions. I told the guy I bought them from that I wanted to wheelie at around 70 and he sugested that I go -1 front and +6 rear. He told me that this setup was really aggressive. I was woundering why one would subtract from the front instead of adding to the rear? What does this do? He also told me that I could wheelie through the first three gears. Does this seem true? Just how easy do you guys think my bike will wheelie now? Also Is taking away a tooth from the front like just adding one in the rear? Or is it like adding several more? I really hope someone can answer these questions. Thanks a lot.

You subtract from the front and/or add to the back to give you more low end.

But what why would you add to the front instead of the rear? Which makes a bigger difference? Why?
