Default gearing question

I am looking into getting a 520 conversion kit for my 07 600rr and was wondering if anyone can tell me what there cruising rpms are with the -1+1 and -1+2 kit. Are the higher highway revs a strong enough trade off for the increase in acceleration in every day riding? Thanks

You will notice a day and night difference with either one of those conversions. Personally I have a +3 in the rear which is roughly equals-1 up front (+2.79 I believe i what it truely equals out to be) My cruising rpms are around 7k -7.3kat 70mph. For the street I think just a -1 upfront would be ideal but thats just my personal preference.

And most of my driving is either Highway or Twisties... not much in between. If i did it over again, I would either go with a +2 only in the back or a -1 upfront.

I was thinking the best setup was going to be -1 up front leaving the rear alone. With your Plus 3 do you see a nice gain in acceleration etc over stock as i would expect to see something similar with just a -1.
thanks

-1+2 for me and i love it. but if you dont get a speedohealer your gonna have some incorrect readings in your speedometer. also it will throw off your milage. anyways its amazing prob the best mod you can do, but if you doin a whole lot of highway riding i wouldnt recomend its more for the street.
