Default Gearing question

I'm new to this forum and new to sportbikes in general. I have an '05 600rr with a two brothers exhaust for mods and thats it. I mostly ride to work which is mostly 40 mph and about 10 miles of highway riding. I have been doing some reading but can't digure out what would be the best gearing for my bike? If I go 1 in the front and 2 in the back how much difference will there be at highway speeds. Will it be revving unconfortably high?
Thanks for the input.

Default RE: Gearing question

Alot of people use +1 front and -2 rear. Its a more agressive style gearing, and you do notice a difference. I have it on my 03 600RR. What you will notice with that changed gearing is that your gas gets SHOT and you need a speedo corrector b/c your rotations will be off due to the change in sprockets size. I also have a 2 bros slip on and PC3 set to aftermarket and stock air filter and I get right around 20mpg give or take. I have asked on other forums and even mechanics say its the sprockets that change the gas that much.

Default RE: Gearing question

its -1 +2 not the other way around. in other words 15 teeth instead of 16 in the front and 45? istead of 43 ....the back is a guesss but +1-2 is deffinitley not right

its super quick with that gearing and is tight, but it does shoot your gas... im getting it taken off of my new bike just cuz i cant afford that ****
