i recentley got a 05 cbr600rr with 5400 miles on it. i put 400 on since then.

i was going to get the oil changed becuase i dont think it was done since last year and am unsure what else to get done.

i was thinking oil, oil filter, and air filter.

i have no idea if the air filter needs changed so i figure it cant be to much more to get this done also. does this sound good to you? anything else to get done? thanks

 

i would get the filters changed also because you dont know when the last time they were changed.

 

i am just going to figure out how to change the oil myself. they said they would need the bike for a day or 2. you just remove left fairing, drain oil, take out filter put on oil on it replace filter, fill up with 3 quarts?

 

hey bro...I just did my 03. I never did it before and went pretty smooth I did the air filter also. The air filter is under the gas tank for the 03's....pretty sure its the same for you. I took off the seat and the tank along with the right side and left side fairings. It lookes naked without any fairings. Like I said went pretty smooth, dont understand why anyone would take it in to get it one!

 

just change the oil and oil filter!! air filters are good for years and years......and may be the spark plugs...if you really need that new bike pick up!!
