Default What’s this wire for?

Putting a 92 f2 back together and can’t seem to figure out where this wire goes.

It's for the flux capacitor. When disconnected your bike will only hit 87 mph.

temp gauge or neutral switch maybe.
what color is the wire, what color is the wire stripe?

It was for the neutral safety switch.
