Default What connector is this for?

This is a picture from under the drivers seat on my 02 f4i. Can somebody tell me what this 2-wire connector is for? And if possible, tell me what the wires are for (voltage?). The wires are green w/gold stripes and brown w/gold stripes. Thanks
