Default What is this connector for???

Just changed my oil and noticed this connector just sitting there. Any idea what it's for? There isn't a male end anywhere unplugged that I noticed.

Maybe it's something for a California model? special emissions and such? The service manual might say.

It connects the air solenoid valve that is located on the back side of the air box.

Here are some images for the air solenoid valve. There should be two wires coming off of it and youll find the male plug you are looking for.

This should be the diagram on the top of your air box.

If you have a manual available, make sure its not one of the many test point connections. Not completely sure, but that is what it looks like to me.

Thats actually a male and female plugged together already, i thought the same thing at first. search the manuel, on my bike there are no plugs that dont have a mate, but it might be different for yours.
