I found a wire spliced between my killswitch/starter button, and one of my headlight wires for some reason earlier today at the wire block. its between the black wire and the solid white light wire. my question is why would this be done? and would it hurt anything? I cut the wire and it didnt seem to change anything on my bike.

 

this is the more than likely the wire that kills your headllight while you are starting the bike. I myself would leave it hooked up save amps while cranking over. this is my best guess.

 

this wouldnt surprise me, although I dont think that would be what it is. but what do I know?

I'm positive it was done by a previous owner at some point. seeing as its not causing me any real issues as is, I think I'll let it be.

now if my tach would work, all in the world of my Cane would be well.
