Ok this is probably really dumb but I'm going to ask anyhow.
I have a 91 CBR 600 F2 and near the reserve fuel switch I have another thing that is like a **** of sorts, looks like you can screw it in and out, I've never messed with it and am just curious wtf is it for? Anyone ? I am planning on throwing on a new custom body kit and if this thing gets in the way I'm just wondering what it's putpose is and if its OEM or what. Any help is much appreciated. I'll get some pics later when its not dark and rainy out if need be.

 

probably the idle adjustment your talking about, and also probably the easiest thing to relocate for body modification.

haha true it is. i know cuz i was messin with it right after i bought it and screwed it all the way out out. then it took me two weeks to figure out why it wouldnt idle period. so dont feel stupid, look at me.

 

I guess I was lucky 'cause when I bought my bike the guy said, "That there's the idle adjustment screw."
