Default Spark Plug replacement

Noob question but how does every one change their spark plugs on their f2?? do you do it thru the door or do you take the tank off? I was told thru the door but i guess my hands are too big to fit in that small space so i was looking for an alternative method.

Hey, I've change mine a couple of times and I go through the doors. Yeah real tight fit but that's how I did it. Lots of patience and slow movements. Keep in mind you can do most of the turning by hand. I'm new too and it took about an hour to take the old ones out and replace and yeah my hands are regular sized lol.
Patience is the key,
Ralph

I do it through the door as well, very tight fit. If you really do have large hands then I am not sure if it is easier to take the radiator and fan off and get them from the front, or the gas tank/air box/coils and get them from the top.

I have big metalworkers hands, you just need to drop the socket/extension down the hole before you put them on the wrench.

I took the doors off, but took the tank/airbox off for easier access. Took about 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

I had the fairings off and the tank off towards the back, but I did my plugs, air and fuel filter, oil and oil filter all at the same time. The plug second from right was a bear to get to, I don't know how this is done coming in through the access doors, very tight fit I guess....
