Default Spark Plug Replacement

Hey,
I am about to replace the plugs on my 93 RR for the first time. I did the plugs on my old SV650, and it was pretty straight forward, are there any tricks I need to know before I do the replacement on the 900RR?
My perception of the process is 1)take the tank off 2)take the airbox out 3)pull out the plugs 4)install new plugs

Is this more or less what I will be doing?

Thanks for the help

Dave

10-4 don't forget the antiseize on the treads. It will save the head treads. Johnny

What kind of plugs are you guys using? I haven't had my 900rr for long and am planning on changing the plugs pretty soon.

I use ngk plugs. I have a 95 and the pluge were a bitch to get to because the way they are positioned in the head, I got them out no problem after I used a swivel extention and a universal on the ratchet. I dont know about a 93, but the attachments helped me out to get it the tight spot. Try to make sure the plugs are gapped correctly also.

I run NGK Iridiums (CR9EHIX-9). But if these things get wet, they are pretty much done. I think they cost me $35 or so for a set.

Not sure that would work for me... I don't have a garage... so my bike spends its nights outside under a bikecover and tarp...

I'm talking bout wet from fuel. If you get rain on your sparkplugs, there are much more serious issues at play.
