So, as she slowly comes up together more problems arise...
Rider0033 - Thanks once again James. You hooked me up big time. Thanks a million.
Rey - Cable isn't stretched, I tested the engagement manually (using a screwdriver to engage it) and I did look inside. I see 6 plates inside the basket. Now when I pull the clutch in, is all the plates suppose to move up, as one? Because if so, only 4 out of the 6 that I could see visually through the dipstick hole are moving when I pull the clutch in. This could possibly be my problem. I just want her up and running already. =/
If anyone has any 94 and up catridge style'd forks up for grabs, please let me know. I rather outright change them with good ones, then replace the internals of mine, specially with the fork tubes having pitting which wouldn't dial out with a calibrater once sanded down.
Help a fellow rider! Thanks.

no prob jah. hey you know what might have happened. under the clutch cover(on the clutch cover itself) there is a spring loaded doo dad (i have to look up the term at home) but it is sort of a tensioner and if you took the cable off this might have popped out of adjustment. thats the bad news
the good news is that you dont have to drain the oil to get the cover off cause all the oil should be resting in the oil pan(if not over full)

its actually a rack and pinion set up where when you pull your clutch in, the cable turns your clutch mechanism (sticking out of the clutch cover and attached to the clutch cable) the mechanism turns which pushes another mechanism (sorry cant remember the names of all the parts right now) but this mechanism pushes and engages(dis engages) the pressure plate. check that and i'll give you the service manual page numbers when i get home
Hopefully she's not over filled. I doubt it, last time I checked her oil it was at the 3/4 mark between the two marks for low and high. I'll probably open her up tonight to see what's wrong. Gotta study first though. Do you think I could buy 93 forks and change out the cap/internals and use them?
