So im not TOO much of a noob because i know my way around an engine... but what are the scheduled service miles and times for CBR f2/f3 engines.... Its my first year with my f2 and i dont have a manual or anything.

Also what is the average pricing for the maintenance if done in a shop. I prefer to do it my self but if i have no time, then i want to know how much to expect...

Really?? No body?? i just want to know what regular services has to be done... just like a car where belts and such have to get changed, what is it for a bike

 

u have to worry about ur cam chain and tensioner. they go around every 30k and u want to replce with a manual tensioner

 

Every 600 miles
check chain

4,000
check break pads and fluid and clutch

every 8,000 miles-
oil and filter replace
plugs
All cables
Check all bolts and tighten them
Carburetor synch.
Check wheels/ rims
Pretty much look over the whole bike and check everything.

Replace air filter

16,000
Check valve clearance

24,000 or two years
change coolant

And also with that cct (cam chain tensonier) i changed mine at 15,000 so buy yourself a spare, trust me. i had to wait like two weeks because the dealer took forever.
