Didn't know I could get the 520 conversion for that cheap. Doesn't that help with some get up and go? Has anyone had any problems with them?

Thanks for the links!!!

More pictures.

Just a quick mock up.

I cant believe how far this piece has came.... crazy. I must be doing something right.... lol

the 520 conversion is smaller and lighter than the 530. for everyday riding you probably wont notice the chain. some people will argue that they will break easier but if you take care of it will last probably just as long. its the sprockets that will give you the get up and go. i went -1 in the front and +2 in the back. it is very noticeable the amount of torque it has now. my top speed will be lower but hey it keeps me from goin to fast lol.

That orange looks fantastic!
How did you go about doing the gas tank? I'm doing mine in a week or so and could use a walk through or some tips.

smitty911 ... Im not sure if this is a common problem or if its usual, but my bike is screaming on the highway, I feel if I change the sprockets (-1, +2) the rpms will be even higher at highway speeds. Whats up with that?

eraser0 ... I just took a palm sander and sanded it down, (only scuffed it up tho, didn't go to bare metal) my teacher said that the stickers or what ever they are on the tank would bleed through and i would see an out line but I dont see one yet so who knows.

eweppley ... you and me both! ... thanks man!

try counting the teeth and make sure they are the stock sprockets before you go buy different ones. usually on the freeway i just put my bike in 6th gear and drive it. it does get a little annoying with the exhaust constantly loud but oh well lol.

to do 25 my bike is in 3rd gear because 2nd is too loud lol. but if your looking to get up and go it wheelies in the first 3 gears even while leaning forward

yes stock is 15 in the front and 43 in the back. my bike is 14-45. it depends on how much torque you want when buying the sprockets. do not go lower than 14 in the front. it will be too small for the chain to spin around. so it is easier to drop the front down one and raise the back however much you like. 45 will give you more torque and low end power but if you go with like a 50 or something it will be a stunter. it just depends on what you use it for.

if you get different sprockets it will keep the rpms higher and will burn more gas.

stretchedf2... Keeping the swingarm and frame stock color. It is in dang good condition and I have dropped 600 bucks in this already on just paint. lol I just wanted to get rid of the ugly purple and yellow.

smitty911 ... I use it to just ride around with some friends, wont be stunting, but also would like to keep up with some newer bikes. (to some extent).man idk what to do.
