Fuel Filter would be placed on the big hose twisting in from the left (in the picture it´s the larger hose resting on the cross member. The two hoses coming up are breather hoses.).

To be honest, I was leery of the bright orange at first...but now with the decals, it is incredibly sharp. Excellent job! I can't wait to see the final product.

Yes, its the black decals that really make it ..orange and black always work very well together!! :-)

Thanks everyone your comments make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, lol ....

The black is actually painted on, its not a sticker.

I tinted the taillight, rear blinkers, and front blinkers, dont worry this blocks next to no light. I am getting brighter bulbs too.

AFTER: NOT WETSANDED AND WHEELED YET!!!

NEW GRIP AND BAR END

Ok, I think I cam across my first actual problem today, I took off the old grips no problem, but my brother was putting on the right side and he broke the throttle plastic thingy.

Here is a pic, should I worry about this? I haven't put the grip on yet. In the first pic he is putting force on it the opposite way.

This is what it looks like.

I think you should replace it...you should be able to just pickup the plastic part and not get the whole body. Should be pretty inexpensive, too.

take off the plastic housing with the run switch and take the throttle cables off and the plastic throttle part will come off.

to lower the front you just slide the fork tubes up. there is 2 bolts on each side of the triple tree to loosen but make sure you have the bike supported lol i did mine last winter but i raised it back up but now im going to lower it both in the front and back this winter.

how did you tint the lights and blinkers? just scuff them and spray them? do you clear them or no?

How far should I lower it? I just want to give it a good stance.

Here is a very very descriptive write up I did on a LS1 forum.

if your not lowering the back maybe go an inch or an inch and a half. i did a inch and a half and it looked pretty sweet lol. but if you have the extra money buy the lowering link for the back and drop that beast 3 inches lol
