Well I would to thank you guys and gals for the help and suggestions and all of the comments you have made.

Here is just about as done as its going to get.

I think I need to cave in and buy the little door that is $80 FING bucks. Only thing that is left is the stickers and pro grip tank pad. And a good wash and polish with some wax to make her shine!

Still needs to be wetsanded and wheeled.

Looks amazing!! You should consider tinting the turn signals (there is a how to on here somewhere).

Can you not find the access panel on ebay or at a salvage yard? There are some at the local salvage place here (victoria, BC) for a hell of a lot less than $80.

I tinted the signals, there is pics of them a couple pages back. I didn't like the way they looked so I sanded it off. Looks much better orange.

Checked ebay, there is only 1 right one on there and its been on there forever, maybe cause no one wants to pay $80! lol

There aren't any salvage yards within 100 miles of me, that I know of.

If anyone comes around one PLEASE let me know.

Hot damn! When I first read "Orange" I'm thinking ugh.... but watching this thing come along was amazing! Your tips and entire walkthrough were perfect! It's information, visual and written like this that make all this worth while. I'd do your bike if I could, only prob is all the available orifices would burn you in one way or another
