One last thought and this may just be me.... A bad *** air brushing of Michael Meyers on the front fender! This bike just screams Halloween to me! Out of sight but it'd be visual murder racing this bike, or even just passing it by >

I got 2 quarts of orange, used around 1 quart
I got 1 gallon of clear, used around 2 quarts
I got 2 quarts of primer, used 1 1/2 quarts
I batch of plastic repair, used just about all of it.

Paint and materials (sandpaper/paper towel ect) cost around $600. That was for high quality ppg paint. As you can see I had a lot left over, but nothing sucks more than running out of paint.

did you paint the entire bike orange then add black on top? or did you mask off most of the area?

I would just like to know how much paint would be needed to paint an entire bike one color (just plastics and tank), as well as clear it.

You think I could get away with 1 quart of primer? It really doesnt need more than one coat on stuff that was already painted right?

I painted everything orange first. I used a lot of primer on account of the plastic repair.
